I noticed lately that all the monty python clips have been wiped from youtube except for the official channel, which only has a few. I have the whole series on blu-ray, but it does make it hard to share particular sketches or whatever with people.

Is the coronavirus now turning people into scotsmen?

When the official Monty Python Youtube channel was launched, they actually did it with an official statement from the Pythons themselves on camera that they weren’t going to be aggressively wiping people’s clips, but that they were going to offer the Improved & High Quality clips on their own channel. I wonder if some stuffy killjoy has assumed authority above their mandate more recently, and chosen to cut back - even clips which were up on the official channel are no more.
